The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department has partnered with Jim McLuen, Quarter Century PGA teaching professional, to develop a comprehensive instructional program for the promotion of the “great game of golf” in the community. Jim is proposing to expand the program as demand grows to include subjects for more advanced players to include Golf Fitness, intermediate classes and the possibility of continued instruction throughout the year. Jim has taught the golf swing for over 35 years and brings a simpler and more enjoyable teaching philosophy developed by being involved with all levels of golfers. His mission is “to help people acquire the skills to elevate their level of confidence which then frees them up to enjoy the game.” For further details on this program, call Chuck Delorme at 856-2166.
