MPRD Spring Sports Registration Begins Online Monday, Jan. 18!
In-Person Registration Starts Tuesday, Jan. 19

[MOUNT PLEASANT] – The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department (MPRD) would like to invite youth and adults to register for spring sports and programs starting online Monday, Jan. 18 and at MPRD facilities beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19. Most sports will close registration on Friday, Jan. 29. Spring sports include baseball, soccer, softball and ultimate Frisbee.

Youth Softball, Cal Ripken/Dixie Baseball, Recreation Baseball, FUNdamental Soccer (U6-U8) and SCAP Soccer programs will accept registration Jan. 18 – 29. Other spring youth sports with differing registration dates include Ultimate Frisbee (Jan. 18 – Mar. 26), Unified Softball (Jan. 18 – Feb. 26), Senior Baseball (Jan. 20 – Apr. 30), Travel Baseball (Jan. 18 – May 14), Middle School Instructional Lacrosse (Jan. 4 - 16), and Travel Basketball (begins Feb. 8). Beginner and FUNdamental track and field registration runs Jan. 4 – 15. Youth Lacrosse offers general registration Jan. 4 – 16. Basketball Academy will begin registration in March.

Registration is available online at www.townofmountpleasant.com (returning patrons only) beginning Monday, Jan. 18. Because MPRD facilities are closed on Jan. 18, in-person registration will begin Jan. 19. Registration is available at all MPRD facilities including the R.L. Jones Center (Egypt Rd.), the G.M. Darby Building (Pitt St.) or the MPRD Park West Recreation Complex beginning Jan. 19. Interested spring youth sports participants who have never registered with MPRD will need to visit one of our locations to register. The birth certificate of the participating child will be requested for all youth sports.

Adult spring sports, including softball, flag football and soccer, also begin registration in January. Adult Softball will hold packet pickup on Jan. 20 and fees will be due by Jan. 9. Adult Flag Football will hold packet pickup on Jan. 19 and fees will be due by Feb. 8. Packet pickup for Adult Soccer will be Jan. 20 and fees will be due by Feb. 10. Volleyball packet pickup will be in March.
