1. Can I register for a class over the phone?

No. You may register for any class on line at www.tompsc.com or in person at any of our facilities.

2. How do I reserve a court?

As a member of the Mount Pleasant Tennis Complex you may reserve tennis courts free of charge up to 48 hours in advance by calling 843-856-2162 or by emailling Shelli Davis at sdavis@tompsc.com. As a non-member of the facility, you may reserve a court the day of for a small fee.

4. How do I register for a USTA league team?

We keep a handful of names and numbers on hand to help out players that are searching for a team to play on. Once this is complete, you will need to have a USTA membership and a membership with the Mount Pleasant Tennis Complex.

5. What is a good age to introduce my child to tennis?

Most children begin with our tennis clinics in the Fall and Spring that start at age 4 and camps in the Summer beginning at age 5. 

6. What is the cost for a pool membership?

Mount Pleasant resident annual membership fee is $2 plus a $2 user fee each time you swim.
Non-resident annual membership is $136 plus a $2 user fee each time you swim.

7. What age do minnows start?

Minnows is for ages 5 - 12. Children must be able to swim a length of the pool.

8. What tennis activities are available for senior players?

We have active senior groups for both men and women that play Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Mt. Pleasant Tennis Complex. Both groups meet year round starting by 8:00 AM.

9. Can I play on any of the MPRD tennis courts free of charge?

Tennis courts at the Mount Pleasant Tennis Complex on Whipple Road need to be reserved and paid for in advance during normal business hours. Our courts in the Old Village on Royall Avenue and at Park West are free of charge and are first come first serve. No league play is permitted at Royall or Park West.

10. How do I reserve the tennis ball machine?

The ball machine is available at the Mount Pleasant Tennis Complex only and is available during normal business hours. Mount Pleasant Tennis staff reserves the right to not rent the machine during peek hours. There is a fee of $10 for 30 minutes or $15 for an hour. 

11. Can we join a class that has already started?

If space is available, most classes can be joined after a class has begun.
