Why Join Water Aerobics Classes?
Comments from Instructors:
Power Aquatics instructor Amy Parker shares, "In the Power Aquatics class, we use noodles, belts, frisbees, and work the water in multiple ways. I love connecting with people and developing relationships through teaching. I want people to learn that this exercise is for athletes and non-athletes and for people of all ages whether your in your 20's, 40's, or 90s."
Water Aerobics Instructor Susan Hillyer explains, "Water aerobics exercising is fun and it jump starts your day. We can modify any exercise to fit your needs. It's a great feeling when you watch patrons come to the pool in wheelchairs and then later see them dance out of the pool after 6 months of water exercises."
Shallow & Deep Water Exercise instructor Janet Brown notes, "I try to teach participants the correct way to perform different movements to keep them safe and injury free. The health benefits of this exercise include physical endurance which promotes cardio/pulmonary strength. Plus, there's muscle toning which enhances muscle strength. Balancing exercises are also important because as we age, we tend to lose our balance more."
