Office of Neighborhood Livability

DSC_0149The creation of the Office of Neighborhood Livability represents a new focus for the Town of Mount Pleasant.  While we have always been engaged with neighborhood issues, the Town has decided that in order to grow into its promise as a "sustainable, resilient, and high-quality suburban community", we need to expand our focus to proactively address issues of livability.  Thus, the creation of the Office of Neighborhood Livability.

Our mission is to work proactively to improve neighborhood livability in Mount Pleasant through protecting community character, encouraging neighborhood enrichment, and enforcing regulatory considerations.

This office will focus on defining ways to enrich and strengthen our neighborhoods--the places where we live, work, and play.  The expansion of programs will be a work in progress over the coming years, as we identify and build the additional resources that we need.
